hello winter

It’s been almost 3 months now since I moved into my own house. Ignoring the whole drama at the start of October, the fire, the minor flood and that terrifying visit from the TV license people, everything’s been going great! I wouldn’t say I don’t understand the financial side of living independently because I’m not stupid. I just choose not to understand it, that stuff just does not interest me in the slightest. Thankfully our house has a Dale, the intellectual one that will actually read the post and note down when to pay stuff and things like that. Our energy bill has just arrived, the estimated price on it based upon the average usage was £42. As all bills we receive are split between the 3 of us, Dale got onto them to find out the exact amount. Let’s just say it was a slight increase from the estimated price. A slight £103 increase. Now being predominantly unemployed students, we would much rather see our money being spent on the more fun things in life than on heat. A heated house or alcohol, gigs and clothes? I think you all know the answer to this question. I’m currently sat here with numerous layers on, blankets wrapped around every part of me and comical yet practical fluffy elephant slippers over my thermal socks and I’m still freezing! People need to come and melt some of them ice cap things over here because this shit is cold.
A little behind the scenes shot as there’s a few comments on flickr asking about the light/snow…etc!!
