Isn’t the Internet a strange invention? The whole anonymity and concept of it still phases me a little. How millions of people are instantly connected yet still be nothing more than strangers. On the internet you’re not a person, a human being, someone with emotions and feelings, you’re nothing more than a group of pixels on a screen. Someone to be criticised or idolised, prejudged and stereotyped. It’s like the Internet is a shield, something people can hide behind and loose all their inhibitions and insecurities and be real to who they are. Would you ever stop someone on the street and ask to be their friend? or tell them you think their ugly? but you’d do this on the Internet? The notes on this picture only further this. These people don’t know me, so why would they like it?

Next time your out and about why not smile and say hello as your eyes awkwardly meet with someones on the bus? or compliment someone on their outfit you think looks amazing? or even tell the person in the bar how good looking you think they are?
