I usually leave my rants, moaning and negativity to my second blog “People Really Annoy Me”, but the poem I just posted on there perfectly sums up why I’m often embarrassed to even admit to being a student due to these types of stereotypes, and why I would much rather stay home alone watching the soaps than “hit up some clubs”
September comes round and all I feel is sick
my beautiful city fuelled by alcohol and dickFreshers arrive and stereotypes to be met
Loans abused and a first semester of debtBodies pushed and hygiene ignored
Praise awarded to those who scoredClubs are packed and pussy isn’t to be sailed
Shame fills the air as the desperation is unveiledA night of passion, a night of lust
Sober comes round and she feels nothing but disgustVulnerability apparent and advantage taken
If only her drunk eyes could see she’ll soon be mistakenParents oblivious and society disgusted
Photos tagged and you’re soon bustedThe life of a fresher combined with the life of sin
